About Rascal

Rascal Media was established in 2011 to celebrate the picturebook through book publishing, apps, and animated trailers. Rascal has created animated trailers for children’s books published by Tradewind Books, Simply Read Books, Groundwood Books, Creston Books, Red Deer Press, The Blue Sky Press (Scholastic), and North South Books. The inspiration for the name and logo for Rascal Media was the raccoon in the first Mister Got to Go book illustrated by Rascal founder, Cynthia Nugent.

Rascal Media acquired world rights from Tradewind Books to adapt their picturebook, The King Has Goat Ears, for the iPad, and gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Canada Media Fund to complete the project.
